Salvador sits on a tropical coast: warm and humid year-round, with rain that tends to arrive in intense bursts rather than all-day drizzle. Build flexibility into beach and boat days, and keep a museum or cultural centre in reserve. For anything on the water, check the forecast and sea conditions with your operator on the day.

This page is deliberately conservative. We only publish practical details we can support, and we will expand it as we verify more on the ground.
