Editorial authorship
Salvador Insider Editorial Team
Salvador Insider uses an institutional byline for articles researched, written, reviewed and maintained as part of the site's editorial process.
What the byline means
The Editorial Team byline signals responsibility for the published material, including local context, practical usefulness, source checking and ongoing updates. It does not mean every sentence comes from a single anonymous writer; it means the article belongs to Salvador Insider's editorial process and standards.
How we work
- We prioritise information that helps a first-time visitor make better decisions in Salvador.
- We combine local knowledge with official, institutional and first-party sources whenever verification is possible.
- Recommendations are curated editorially rather than generated from review scores alone.
- Information that can change, such as opening hours, addresses and operating conditions, is marked for verification when appropriate.
- Commercial relationships do not buy favourable editorial conclusions and are disclosed when relevant.
Updates and corrections
Articles carry a last-verified date when applicable. We update material when we obtain better information, when conditions change or when a correction is necessary. The goal is not to preserve an old version for appearance's sake; it is to keep the guide useful.
Editorial standards
The full methodology for selection, verification, commercial disclosure and cultural treatment is described in our Editorial Policy.
